    Hard But Worth It

    Hey guys! So I have some thoughts… is working out hard? Yep. It is. I’m not going to sugar coat it. It’s hard, it’s painful, it’s uncomfortable and not always convenient. BUT is it worth it? Absolutely. Let’s set aside the benefits of the endorphin boost, stress relief, hot bod and an excuse to have a fitness instagram account 😉😂 (by the way, you guys know better than to take me seriously, yes?) Ok… continuing on… there are those benefits, but guess what I just read that is insane! It’s estimated that 42% of cancer cases are linked to modifiable health behaviors ie: diet, exercise and quitting bad habits. Whoa. 42% 😱

    Here’s why I think exercise is the most important- I think it gives you the motivation to cut the other crap out too. Nobody wants to bust their butt in the gym to have the results not show… so working out for most leads to healthier living overall. I know we’re all effected by cancer in one way or another. Friends and family that I love dearly have had tough battles with it. Some of these cases are not at all preventable, but 42% is a pretty big chunk! So, yeah working out is hard. Eating healthy is hard. Quitting tobacco and drinking is hard… you know what’s harder? Fighting cancer. There are no guarantees but I’m going to do everything I can to keep my body healthy and I think you should too. 🤜🏻🤛🏻
